Emiliano Zapata, known as “El Caudillo del Sur” (The Warlord of the South), was a prominent peasant revolutionary leader, and a legend of the Mexican Revolution.

At an early age, Zapata developed an awareness of the injustices that the elites committed against the people, and today he has become a world symbol of those who fight to defend the rights of the oppressed classes. His libertarian and justice ideals still live on in the legacy he inherited from us.“If there is no justice for the people, there is no peace for the government”  is one of the most remembered phrases of Emiliano Zapata.
